Bas Oorschot returned to Northern
Ontario seeking a simpler life in the country, after acquiring an Honours Degree in Science and in the Arts, from
Guelph University.
He then found his true passion with the clay, by working
in the family business for many years, completing a full apprenticeship with Tony Oorschot.
While working, he attended the Craft and Design program from
Canadore College and honed his skills with the clay.
Later, Liliane
joined him bringing her own passion to the business. Together they continue the tradition of manufacturing high quality handcrafted
functional stoneware.
