Bas Oorschot returned to Northern Ontario fifteen years ago (1996), seeking a simpler life in the country, after acquiring an Honours Degree in Science and in the Arts from Guelph University.

He then found his true passion with the clay, while working in the family business, Rockcliffe Pottery. He then attended the Craft and Design program from Canadore College and completed his apprenticeship.

Liliane joined him bringing her own passion to the business. Together they continue the tradition of manufacturing high quality handcrafted functional stoneware at their quiet scenic studio.

They welcome you to visit their new store and enjoy a few moments of country tranquility at their hill top location.
